Australia's response to virus may have saved 16,000 lives
Australia’s response to COVID-19 has been “extremely successful” and may have saved 16,000 lives, according to a study by the University of Sydney.
Australia’s rate of 34 deaths per million population is 15 to 20 times lower that that observed in countries across Europe and the Americas.
